Ranking method & limitations
The main ranking is Best Riding Now: the resort must be verified open, have a sufficient reported base, and then current official snow quality, recent snowfall and open terrain are prioritised. Wind and visibility only fine-tune the score. Powder Incoming 24h, 48h and 72h are separate forecast views.

How the forecast score works and its limits
Only resorts with at least 5 cm forecast snowfall qualify for this snow list. Every resort is scored on the same complete forecast window: snowfall50 points, maximum wind25 and minimum visibility25. For the 72h window, snowfall is divided by three before scoring, so it represents daily average snow. Highest score first. Reported snow depth and snow quality are shown separately; missing observations do not penalise a resort or become invented snow values.
This predicts weather conditions, not slope quality, existing powder, avalanche safety or the world’s best freeride terrain. Official skiing reports expire after24h; forecasts after6h. All three forecast fields must be complete.
